One of the top trending ads in Nigeria is definitely one I'm in love with. It's an ad campaign titled ''Padi of life''  by Aquafina,  a premium drinking water brand. You might be wondering, what does Padi mean? Padi is a Nigerian slang which means friend. The word is mostly used by teenagers and youths.  As a Nigerian, I've learnt that for someone to call you their 'Padi', means you hold a special place in their heart.  I hope I'm letting you in on what 'Padi' truly means and I hope you understand.  Back to Aquafina campaign tagline 'Padi of life'   They used ‘Padi of life’ as an adjective to describe the significance of their water to their audience. Now, I think this is cool.  What exactly makes this tagline mindblowing? It's the stories they created through it. Stories that are interesting, relatable, and emotional. Below is one of the ads.
